There are many types of cuisines in India. Each and every state has its own set of flavor palette, ingredients and mixes and all of them taste so different. Ingredients:

1. Flour——————————–4 cups
2. Baking powder—————— 1 teaspoon
3. Salt—————————1 teaspoon
4. Yogurt—————————2 cups

Directions:

1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
2. Then add the yogurt and start forming a big dough ball. After that make small balls out of the big one and keep aside for an hour.
3. Take some flour and sprinkle on the work surface. Knead the dough and roll it into a circle.
4. Heat the frying pan and add a little oil to it, if needed.
5. Take each rolled out dough and cook it on a medium heat until golden brown for 5 minutes on each side.
6. Serve hot with butter and curry.

Ingredients:

1. Yogurt—————————–1 cup
2. lemon juice—————————–1 tablespoon
3. ground cumin—————————–2 teaspoons
4. cinnamon—————————–2 teaspoons
5. pepper—————————–2 teaspoons
6. ground black pepper—————————–2 teaspoons
7. fresh ginger—————————–1 tablespoon
8. salt—————————– to taste
9. skinless chicken breasts—————————–3
10. butter—————————–1 tablespoon
11. garlic—————————–1
12. jalapeno pepper—————————–1
13. ground cumin—————————–2 teaspoons
14. paprika—————————–2 teaspoons
15. tomato sauce—————————–1 can
16. heavy cream—————————–1 cup
17. fresh cilantro—————————–1/4 cup

Directions:

1. Take a large bowl and mix well yogurt, lemon, ginger, garlic, all masala powders, black pepper, cayenne pepper and salt.
2. Add chicken to this mixture and keep in fridge for 1 hour.
3. Heat the grill and thread the chicken to skewers.
4. Grill for 5 minutes on each side and take aside.
5. Take a skillet and melt butter in it. Sauté garlic and jalapeno peppers for a minute or two and add the seasonings accordingly.
6. Add the tomato sauce and cream. Cook on low heat for 20 minutes.
7. Add the chicken and simmer for 10 minutes and serve with fresh cilantro.

Indian Samosas Recipe Samosa is a snack item prepared with a dough and stuffing which can be vegetarian or non vegetarian. It is available in all parts of India and is very popular.

Ingredients:

1. Flour—————————– 2 cups
2. Salt—————————-to taste
3. Baking powder—————————- 1 teaspoon
4. Potatoes—————————- 6
5. Water—————————-to knead
6. Onions—————————- 3
7. Chillies—————————-5
8. Garlic—————————-1 full
9. Ginger—————————- 1 inch piece
10. Chilli powder—————————-2 tablespoons
11. Turmeric powder—————————-1 tablespoon
12. Pepper—————————-to taste
13. oil—————————- to deep fry

Directions:

1. Take a large bowl and mix flour, salt and baking powder. Add enough water and form a dough ball.
2. Keep it aside for an hour.
3. Meanwhile prepare the stuffing, take a large skillet or pan and add oil to it.
4. Add onions and garlic and fry until golden.
5. Cook the potatoes in water until half done and remove.
6. De skin and cut into cubes.
7. Add these potato cubes to the onions in the pan.
8. Add ginger, chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder and pepper to it.
9. Mix well and cook until potatoes are cooked and are almost like a mashed potato.
10. Now, make small dough balls and roll them into circles.
11. Fold into samosa pockets and add the stuffing into it.
12. Deep fry them in the oil and serve hot with sauce.
