Easy and tasty Meatballs

Ingredients:

Easy and tasty Meatballs

1. Italian bread or white bread……….. 3

2. Milk…………………………………………… 3/4 cup

3. Tomato sauce……………………………… 7 cups

4. Water…………………………………………… 1 cup

5. Salt and pepper…………………………… To taste

6. All purpose flour…………………………… 1/2 cup

7. Ground beef or lamb…………………… 400 grams

8. Ground pork or chicken……………… 250 grams

9. Large eggs………………………………… 2

10. Garlic cloves………………………………… 2

11. Grated Parmesan cheese……………………… ½ cup

12. Italian parsley or coriander……………………… 2 tablespoons

Instructions:

1. Slice the crust off the bread and chop the bread into ¾ inch cubes and place in a small bowl.

2. Add milk to the bread and press until the bread absorbs all the mixture. Keep it aside for 5 minutes.

3. Meanwhile, take a large saucepan and add tomato sauce and water to it. Turn on the heat to medium high and bring the sauce to boil.

4. Simmer and season with salt and pepper, if needed.

5. Take a small bowl and add flour to it. Add cold water to the bowl and set aside.

6. Take a large bowl and add the beef and pork to it mix well with your hands until combined well.

7. Take the soaked bread, discard the milk and tear the bread into small pieces. Squeeze the excess milk and discard the milk. Add the bread to the meat mixture.

8. Now add eggs, garlic parmesan cheese and parsley to the meat and season with large pinches of salt and pepper.

9. Mix the mixture well.

10. Taste and add seasoning.

Easy and tasty Meatballs 11. Form the mixture into 1 to 1 ½ inch balls. Roll the meatballs in the reserved flour mixture and drop each meat ball into the sauce that is simmering away.

12. Cover the saucepan and simmer. Try not to mix so that the meatballs will hold their shape. Cook for 5 minutes.

13. Stir and combine and cook for 35 minutes. Take off the lid and simmer for 5 more minutes.

14. Serve hot with spaghetti.
