Ingredients:
1. Green onions or spring onions———2
2. Eggs——————————————–2
3. Salt and pepper—————————–a teaspoon
4. Oil——————————————–4 tablespoons
5. Cooked rice——————————–4 cups
6. Light soy sauce—————————-2 tablespoons
Directions:
1. Chop the spring onions finely and beat the eggs in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to eggs.
2. Heat a pan and add oil to it, add the eggs and cook by stirring until they scrambled. Remove the eggs and clean the pan. Add more oil and add rice, stir nicely and add the soy sauce to it.
3. Add the scrambled egg and spring onions and cook for 5 minutes until the fried rice is hot. Serve hot.
2. Lettuce Wraps
Another Chinese recipe you must try and is very simple one is the lettuce wraps which is very healthy and tasty as well.
Ingredients:
1. Iceberg lettuce————————-1
2. Soy sauce——————————-1 tablespoon
3. Oyster sauce————————–2 tablespoons
4. Dry sherry——————————1 tablespoon
5. Sugar———————————–1 teaspoon
6. Sesame oil—————————1 tablespoon
7. Ginger———————————-1 slice
8. Garlic cloves—————————–2
9. Spring onions—————————2
10. Chicken breasts sliced————— 2 cups
11. Red pepper—————————-1
12. Water chestnuts————————–1 can
13. Celery———————————–1
14. Cornstarch mixed in water———–2 tablespoons
Directions:
1. Mix everything except the lettuce and keep aside.
2. Take a lettuce leaf and put the mixture in it.

3. Hot and Sour soup
Hot and sour soup is one of the best recipes of Chinese cuisine and absolutely delightful at any time of the day.
Ingredients:
1. Pork tenderloin/chicken ——————–2 ounces
2. Tofu———————————————1 cake
3. Soy sauce————————————–1 teaspoon
4. Sesame oil—————————————1/2 teaspoon
5. Cornstarch—————————————1 teaspoon
6. bamboo shoots———————————-1/2 cup
7. Chinese dried black mushrooms———–4
8. Water——————————————–6 cups
9. Salt and pepper——————————-to taste
10. red rice vinegar——————————-2 tablespoons
11. egg———————————————–1
12. green onion——————————-1
13. chili oil——————————————-to taste
Directions:
1. Shred the pork or chicken and marinade with soy sauce, sesame oil, salt and pepper for 20 minutes. Cut the tofu into small pieces and the bamboo into thin strips and soak the mushrooms in water for 20 minutes.
2. Take a sauce pan and bring water to boil. Add the mushrooms, bamboo shoots and tofu. Bring to boil and add pork or chicken to it.
3. Add salt and pepper along with vinegar, sesame oil and soy sauce to it. Add cornstarch and bring to boil.
4. Drop the beaten egg by removing the pan from the stove. Add the green onions and pepper to taste. Add chili oil and serve hot.
4. Stir fried Orange chicken
Stir fries are very Chinese and are very easy to make. All you need are the basic Chinese ingredients and a pan to prepare the recipe. You can do the same with vegetables or any meat you like.
Ingredients:
1. Chicken ———————–4 breasts
2. Chinese rice wine————–2 tablespoons
3. Cornstarch———————-1 tablespoon
4. Orange juice———————-1/3 cup
5. Soy sauce————————–2 tablespoons
6. Sesame oil————————-1 teaspoon
7. Brown sugar———————-1 teaspoon
8. Chile paste————————1/4 teaspoon
9. Garlic cloves————————2
10. Ginger———————————-1 slice
11. Oil————————————–as needed
Directions:
1. Cut the chicken into cubes and add the rice wine and cornstarch to it. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
2. Take a pan and heat the oil. Add the garlic and ginger and fry for a minute or two. Add the chicken and stir fry for 3 minutes. Make a well in the middle and the remaining ingredients. Cook and stir in the chicken. Cook until the chicken cooked well and serve hot.
5. Chocolate fondue
A perfect Chinese desert for sweet toothed persons.
Ingredients:
1. Semisweet chocolate—————-8 ounces
2. Unsweetened chocolate————-4 ounces
3. Whipping cream————————1 cup
4. Sugar————————————–2 tablespoons
5. cinnamon————————1 teaspoon
6. chili powder————————1/2 teaspoon
7. five-spice powder————————1 teaspoon
8. cognac————————1 ½ tablespoons
9. sour cream————————2 tablespoons
10. Biscotti pieces———————— to dip
Directions:
1. Chop the chocolate and add them to a double broiler. Melt it and add whipping cream and sugar to it. Stir constantly.
2. Pour the mixture in a fondue pot and add the remaining ingredients. Dip the biscotti pieces or a pound cake in it and enjoy.
